i’m beginning to realize that the western world’s approach to martial arts is Totally different from the eastern world’s. In the east its a way of life filled with and honor code and etiquette in the west its a means to and end.Everybody wants to be a pro fighter. i see little humility and respect for ones opponent in the west and western styles. Just watch the UFC you see guy taunt opponents AFTER they have defeated them or seriously injured them and i think because MMA is not a true style their is no history no virtues attached to it by a noble founder. Thats just my opinion like it or not.
i love grappling, so much to improve on in 2012!
Last nights testing was AWESOME. i’m with my Sensei and Peter (who just got his black belt) of whom i had the honor of being his Uke for the night. OSSSSSS!!!!!
